Evaluation Officer, Evaluation & Monitoring

About the role:

As Evaluation Officer, you will play a key role in supporting evaluation projects within the Victorian Government (Department of Health and Department of Families, Fairness and Housing). Your primary responsibilities will involve assisting with the design and implementation of evaluations, using various methodologies to contribute to the development of recommendations that align with government priorities.

About you:

- Tertiary qualifications in public health, evaluation, psychology, health and social sciences, public policy, or another discipline with a strong evaluative and qualitative research methods focus component would be desirable.




- Applicants with a tertiary qualification in other fields but with work experience in the above fields and experience in qualitative evaluation techniques would also be considered also suitable.
- Project management: The ability to prepare and submit schedules for projects, monitor performance against these schedules and deal with administrative problems that arise.
