Ultratest Pty Ltd are now hiring experienced NDT technicians.

Positions are now available to work in a well-established, NATA accredited NDT and inspection company, within the Melbourne area.

Experienced NDT technicians

- Magnetic Particle Testing Level 2 multi sector.
- Ultrasonic Testing Level 2 Welds

Requirements for NDT technician

- Minimum 3 years’ practical experience in relevant discipline
- An understanding of NATA requirements
- Experience in an In-service inspection setting
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- High attention to detail and safety
- Other certifications (PAUT, ET, PT, VT) & welding supervisor cert 10 will be an advantage.
- Must have driver’s license.
- Must live in Australia or have a valid work visa.




- Excellent Communication and Computer skills
- Construction Industry "White Card”

Desirable Requirements (not essential):

- Elevated work platform (WP) high risk license
- Confined space and working at heights within the last 2 years
- RIW Card (Rail Industry Worker)

Key Responsibilities

- To carry out inspections according to specifications and best technical practice.
- Maintaining & capturing records of results.
- Work independently alongside a small team.
- Comply with the requirements of the company's quality system.
- Interpret NDT codes, standards, specifications, and procedures.

Wages/Incentives are negotiable on amount of experience and certifications held.
