About The Health Centre

Located approximately 45km South of Perth on Garden Island, HMAS Stirling provides operational and logistics support to the RAN ships, submarines and aircraft based in WA. The base is home to RAN Submarine Training & Systems Centre, Training Centre West complex, Defence Communications Station Perth, and is a trials/research & support facility. Health Centre services include primary medical, underwater medicine,



nursing, mental health, physiotherapy, dental and pharmaceutical services. Standard operating hours are generally 07:30 - 15:30 Monday - Friday (depending on role requirements).

What You'll Do

- Supporting dental procedures through chair-side assisting
- Preparing and maintaining clinical equipment and treatment areas
- Promoting oral health and supporting patient care
- Maintaining infection control and hygiene standards
- Managing patient records and supporting administrative tasks

What You Bring

- Certificate III in Dental Assisting or equivalent qualification
- 2 years chair-side experience in a dental clinical setting
- Current First Aid (HLTAID011) and CPR (HLTAID009) certification
- Strong understanding of infection control and clinical standards
- Great communication skills with a caring, team-focused approach
