About the Role

6 to 12-month project role (based on the expectations of the successful candidate) partnering with operations to implement WHS initiatives across agricultural and land management activities.

The WHS Advisor will provide dedicated project support to implement safety improvements and integrate agriculture and land management activities into the Group Health and Safety Management System. The role is responsible for developing and implementing systems, procedures, training and risk management processes to support safe and compliant operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Promote a positive safety culture through engagement, consultation and practical leadership.
- Support the integration of agriculture and land management activities into the organisation's safety management framework.
- Lead risk assessments and assist with the implementation of effective control measures.
- Develop and improve WHS systems, procedures, standards and safe work practices to support compliance and operational effectiveness.
- Coordinate workplace inspections, audits and assurance activities to monitor safety performance.
- Support the management of agricultural equipment, machinery and hazardous chemicals and hydrocarbons within organisational safety systems.
- Support the development of a training needs analysis and training,



competency and awareness Partner with operational leaders and workers to drive continuous improvement in safety performance.
- Maintain project documentation, reporting and action tracking to support delivery of project objectives.
- Provide regular updates, insights and recommendations to leadership on project progress and outcomes.

About You

You are a safety professional with experience in developing and implementing practical WHS solutions in operational environments. You have a strong understanding of WHS legislation, risk management and safety systems, and are confident engaging with workers, leaders and stakeholders to drive positive safety outcomes.

Highly organised and self-motivated, you can manage projects, build effective working relationships and deliver quality results while contributing to a strong and proactive safety culture.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Qualifications in WHS or a related field.
- Experience in workplace health and safety, ideally within agriculture or a similar operational environment.
- Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, risk management and safety systems.
- Experience with audits, inspections, risk assessments and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.




- Current driver's licence.

Please note this is a site-based Monday to Friday role with travel required across our Hunter Valley operations. A vehicle option is included in the package.
