This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced financial planner to join a premium boutique advisory firm dedicated to provision of quality, tailored financial advice to its enviable clientele.
Inheriting an existing portfolio of clients, there is also plenty of opportunity to further grow this client base through effective relationship building and leveraging from existing referrals and partner relationships. The role will then be responsible for providing appropriate strategic recommendations and exceptional client service whilst fulfilling a fiduciary role to clients in financial advice recommendations.
Key responsibilities
Network, leverage leads and seize opportunities to increase your client base
Develop referral sources in order to introduce current clients to the firm
Providing high end ongoing service to your existing clients
Assess clients' financial situations, offer strategic advice on various financial products and services, and develop personalised financial plans for individual clients
Attend to client meetings (reviews, new clients, SOA presentations)
Provide client advice following meetings,
preparing strategy/recommendations for paraplanners to write, vetting advice
Attend to client queries (ad-hoc calls, emails, drop-ins, withdrawal requests)
Service all clients within their EFDS period and to stated service standards
About you
Knowledge of investment and insurance products
Extensive knowledge of financial services industry and products
Knowledge of legislative and compliance requirements
Knowledge of taxation, Centrelink, Estate planning issues
Knowledge of self-managed superannuation funds
Margin Lending experience from within the last five years essential
Excellent presentation and communication
Motivated by growth of client book and financial incentives
