What you need
- Must have valid Traffic Control TC2 ticket
- Must have Traffic Control experience
- RIIWHS205E Control traffic with stop/slow bat course
- RIIWHS302E – Implement traffic management plans
- Construction induction – white card
- Drivers license
- Have your own two-way radio and Traffic Control PPE - including Vic Roads Vest
- Able to work in a team and able to work individually
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Well-presented and punctual
- Must be available to work on weekends as well
What you will be doing
- Perform all tasks associated with traffic management
- Site clean-up and worksite duty
- Travel to different locations
- Use of the Stop/Slow Bat to control traffic
- Sound verbal skills with knowledge of 2-way radio
- Implement and monitor operational Traffic Management Plans
- Complete vehicle pre-start checks
- Load and unload vehicles with signage and equipment
- Complete the required paperwork
- Report on-site hazards and near misses
- Obey instructions from team leaders, foremen, inspectors and auditors
