An exciting opportunity has arisen for Retail Manager to join the team at a busy fuel station and retail store in Tamworth, NSW.

As the Retail Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the business, leading a dedicated team, and ensuring the delivery of an exceptional customer experience. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant contribution to a well-established and growing business while working in a fast-paced and dynamic retail environment. You will play a key role in driving operational excellence, maintaining high standards of customer service, managing staff performance, controlling inventory, and achieving sales and profitability targets.

Key responsibilities

- Manage the daily operations of the fuel station and retail store

- Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing team
n
- Ensure outstanding customer service standards are consistently maintained

- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to maximise revenue
n
- Oversee inventory management, stock control and merchandising
n
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements and maintain a clean, safe and welcoming store environment

- Manage rostering, staffing levels and employee performance

About you

- Must have experience in a retail management role, preferably in the Retail & Consumer Products industry

- Must possess relevant qualifications

- Robust leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team

- Excellent customer service orientation and the ability to provide exceptional in-store experience

- Proficient in data analysis and interpreting performance metrics to drive business decisions
