We are seeking a talented and passionate Technical Director – Engagement and Communication to help shape and deliver strategic initiatives across complex infrastructure, environmental, and energy projects.
n

Working with a supportive, high-performing team, youwill contribute to a variety of projects and have the opportunity to develop your technical and commercial capabilities through:
n

- Developing andimplementing stakeholder and community engagement strategies and plans acrossGHD's diverse projects
n
- Managing and successfully delivering complex projects for clients, with support as you grow into the broader responsibilities of the role
n
- Building trusted relationships with existing clients and contributing to new areas of growth
n
- Identifying opportunities and helping develop clear, compelling proposals with guidance from experienced colleagues
n
- Contributing to collaborative,
high-performing teams and consistently delivering quality outcomes
n
- Sharing practical insights, lessons and ideas that strengthen engagement and communication practice
n
- Growing your influence as a technical practitioner by sharing knowledge, supporting colleagues and role modelling GHD behaviours
n
- Contributing ideas and technical perspectives that help shape GHD's strategic direction
n
n
What you'll bring:
n
n
- 7 to 10 years' experience delivering engagement and communication outcomes, with the ambition and readiness to grow into a senior technical role
n
- Formal qualifications ina Social Science/Communications/Commerce degree or a related field, or equivalent transferable experience
n
- Astrong commitment to client service andquality delivery
n
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with theflexibility torespond to changing project needs
n
- Excellent writing skills and theability tocreate high-quality content fordifferent audiences andchannels
n
- Strong interpersonal skillsandtheconfidence tocommunicate respectfully with communitymembers, clientsand other stakeholders
n
- The ability to work independently when needed and collaboratively as part of a team
n
- Sound judgement, curiosity and a willingness to learn
n
