Karara is the largest miningoperation and first major magnetite mine in the Mid-West, with NRWproviding management and technical services across mining, drilland blast, train load out, miscellaneous works and maintenance. Located just a one-hour flight from Perth, Karara offers excellentcamp facilities, modern mining equipment and a strong team culture,all on an 8/6 roster.

As a Mining Engineer you must possess the following as aminimum:
n
n
- Bachelor of Engineering (Mining) or relevant tertiaryqualifications
n
- Extensive experience in an operational engineering role ona production mine site
n
- Strengths in planning, scheduling, budgets, and costcontrol
n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
- Experience in the operation of Caterpillar, Komatsu andHitachi earth moving equipment
n
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
n
n
As a Mining Engineer, you will be responsiblefor:

- Delivering safe and optimal short-termplanning/scheduling
n
- Liaising with operation teams to ensure production targetsare met
n
- Contributing to continuous improvement projects
n
- Promotion of mine health, safety, and environmentalpolicies
