Registered Psychologist – Flexible PT/FT | Multidisciplinary Clinic – Epping

We are looking for an AHPRA-registered Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist who would enjoy working collaboratively while retaining their own clinical identity and autonomy. You may work with a combination of private patients and third-party patients, including WorkSafe/WorkCover and TAC patients. There is particular opportunity to work with presentations involving persistent and chronic pain, trauma and stressful life experiences, adjustment to injury or illness, anxiety, depression and emotional distress, fear avoidance and barriers to recovery, somatic presentations, workplace and motor vehicle injuries, and behavioural and psychological factors affecting rehabilitation.

Key responsibilities

- Psychological assessment and therapy
- Developing individualised treatment plans
- Supporting patients experiencing pain, trauma, stress and barriers to recovery
- Working collaboratively with allied health practitioners where clinically appropriate
- Managing private, WorkSafe/WorkCover and TAC patients
- Maintaining appropriate clinical records and correspondence
- Communicating with referrers and third parties where required
- Contributing ideas to the ongoing development of psychology within Muscle Joint Bone





About you

- Current AHPRA registration as a psychologist
- Strong clinical and communication skills
- A warm, professional and grounded manner
- An interest in multidisciplinary healthcare
- An evidence-informed and patient-centred approach
- Ability to work independently while enjoying collaboration with other practitioners
- Experience with trauma, persistent pain, rehabilitation or third-party patients is advantageous but not essential

Muscle Joint Bone Epping is an established multidisciplinary allied health clinic located at 26 Childs Road, Epping. Our team currently includes osteopathy, physiotherapy, chiropractic, exercise physiology and clinical Pilates, and we are expanding our psychological services as an key part of our multidisciplinary model. We see patients whose recovery can involve much more than a physical injury alone. Persistent pain, trauma, stress, adjustment difficulties, fear, emotional wellbeing and life circumstances can all influence recovery. We therefore want psychology to become a genuine part of our clinical team — not simply a separate service operating from the same building.
