Doolans Heavy Haulage is a national leader in specialised transport and oversized/over-mass (OSOM) movements across Australia. We are seeking a motivated and detail-focusedPermits Officerto join our team at ourClayton, Victoriaoffice.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong computer skills and an interest in the heavy transport industry. Experience with NHVR or OSOM permits is highly regarded, butfull training will be providedto the right person.

About the Role

You will be responsible for preparing and managing permit applications for major transport projects nationwide. This includes working closely with NHVR, state road authorities, utility providers, rail networks, tollway operators and police/escort agencies.

Your day will include:

- Lodging and tracking permit applications through NHVR and State/Territory portals
- Compiling route survey information and identifying route constraints
- Coordinating with external stakeholders such as power authorities, rail, tollway and police escorts
- Providing permit updates to our operations and project teams




- Ensuring compliance with OSOM requirements and maintaining accurate job files

What We're Looking For

- Strong computer and administration skills
- Excellent communication and organisational ability
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
- Interest in heavy haulage or transport (highly preferred but not essential)
- Experience with NHVR / OSOM permits (preferred but training available)
