We’re looking for an exceptional Senior Patternmaker to join one of Australia’s most exciting contemporary fashion businesses.

This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of creativity, technical expertise and exceptional garment construction, partnering closely with Design to turn ideas into beautifully considered, production-ready pieces.

If you’re a patternmaker who cares deeply about fit, silhouette, proportion and the finer details, this is a role where your expertise will genuinely shape the product.

What you’ll be doing

- Owning pattern and fit development from first pattern through to production
- Predominantly working across digital patternmaking, with manual cutting and draping
- Partnering with Design to interpret and elevate creative concepts
- Developing technically complex, structured and fluid garments
- Leading fittings and resolving fit, construction and proportion challenges
- Working closely with machinists to achieve exceptional garment execution




- Grading approved patterns across the full size range
- Helping maintain and evolve the brand’s signature fit and silhouette

What we’re looking for

- 5+ years’ senior patternmaking experience in premium, luxury or technically complex womenswear
- Exceptional manual and digital patternmaking skills
- Lectra experience preferred — strong Gerber experience will also be considered
- Advanced draping, fitting and garment construction skills
- Robust understanding of fabric, fit and construction
- Experience with corsetry, lingerie, bridal, occasionwear or complex womenswear highly regarded
- A creative eye and the ability to interpret, problem-solve and improve, rather than simply execute

Salary is open and will be based on experience. We’re looking for the right person, not putting a ceiling on exceptional talent.
