We're looking for an Account Manager to join our PALM division and take dedicated ownership of a client account and workforce cohort that is based in the Castlemaine, VIC region.

About the Role

This is a genuinely hands-on role that sits at the intersection of workforce management, client partnership and community engagement. You'll be the one of the BLU representatives on the ground, acting as the bridge between a cohort of PALM workers and a large, compliance-driven host employer operating in the meat processing and supply chain sector.

Day to day you'll be responsible for:

- Overseeing the integration of PALM workers into the client site and the broader local community
- Managing worker welfare, engagement, performance and compliance to both BLU and our client's standards
- Delivering orientations, safety briefings and ongoing support to ensure workers understand expectations and are operating safely in their roles
- Managing the client relationship, understanding their operational needs, and ensuring their PALM workforce is trained, performing and meeting all required standards
- Resolving issues as they arise, often autonomously, with the confidence to make sound decisions on the ground
- Maintaining thorough documentation and compliance across all aspects of the program




- Working collaboratively with the broader PALM division team when needed, while being comfortable owning your patch independently
- Hours and scheduling will flex to align with client operations, so adaptability is important in this role. There will also be some travel to Melbourne to assist with client accounts in that location.

About You

Ideally you are based in or within 30 minutes of CASTLEMAINE, VIC.

You're a people person who also knows how to hold the line. You bring warmth and cultural respect to everything you do, but you're equally comfortable having a direct conversation when performance or compliance requires it. Someone who hails from the Pacific Island region or who understands the cultures from this region will be well regarded. You take genuine pride in the outcomes for the workers in your care.

You'll bring:

- Experience in the PALM Scheme, either as an Account Manager or in a related capacity, is highly regarded
- A background in people/client management, workforce coordination, welfare management or community care/support will also be well regarded
- Robust interpersonal skills and a genuine respect for cultural difference and the challenges that come with it
- The ability to manage competing priorities across both a client relationship and a worker cohort simultaneously
- Confidence working autonomously and making decisions under pressure
- A solutions-focused, calm and professional approach to issues and conflict resolution
- Strong documentation, compliance, reporting and organisational skills
- A valid driver's licence, car and willingness to travel within the South-East QLD region as required
