LAB3 is one of the largest Azure engineering practices in the Australasia region with a focus on Cloud & DevOps, Data, IoT & AI, Modern Workplace, Contemporary Apps & Integration, Security, andNetwork services.

We are looking for NV1 security cleared Principal Engineers, ideally based in Canberra, with deep experience in Azure Cloud & DevOps to lead, deliver and support the execution of technical solutions that meet our clients'needs. We are open to permanent and contract employees- with multiple roles open, we are likely to take a mix of both.

The role

n
- Actas the lead Engineerfor technical client engagements in deliveringand overseeing Azure assessments, solutions, and implementations forour client(s)
n
- Engineer, advise and implementon appropriate state-of-the-art technical patterns on Azure
n
- Provide technical reviews on architecture and design deliverables whilst supporting engagements as a SME.
n
- Participate in the consultation between LAB3 and clients to understand strategic business requirements and translate those into effective cloud solutions.
n
- Communicate and present discoveries to senior management and executive stakeholders
n
- Partner with the Project Managers to provide technical input into scheduling, estimating activities and project delivery
n
- Support our pre-sales teams with documentation, design and transformative direction. Help setup proof-of-concept prototypes
n
- Identify, interpret, and communicate meaningful insights via workshops, presentations, and reports




n
- Run workshops and cloud adoption activities with our customers as necessary.
n
- Recommend client value creation initiatives and implement industry best practices
n
- Provide technical leadership and be a role model to the engineers.

- Azure DevOps

- Cloud Automation – Bash, Python, Ansible

- Azure Resource Manager - ARM Templates and Bicep
n
- Azure Functions, Key Vault & Back ups
n
- Azure Network, Azure Security, Azure IAM and RBAC Design
n
- Azure Security Centre Operations
n
- Azure Management Groups & Subscription Management
n
- PowerShell module creation and management
n

Experience with Open-source containers (AKS Kubernetes) is desirable.
