About the Role

As a Registered Surveyor, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of surveying projects from inception through to completion. Working closely with clients, project teams, and regional leadership, you will oversee project planning, technical delivery, stakeholder engagement, and quality assurance.

This role offers a balance of fieldwork, office-based technical work, project management, and client interaction.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver cadastral, engineering, and control surveys across a diverse range of projects
- Review, certify, and approve survey plans, reports, and associated documentation
- Manage survey project budgets, schedules, resources, and deliverables
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to survey staff and technicians
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, councils, contractors, and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and surveying standards
- Support proposal preparation, project planning, and business development initiatives




- Coordinate project resources and oversee field and office activities
- Contribute to multidisciplinary projects alongside engineering and planning teams
- Mentor and develop emerging survey professionals

What We're Looking For

Essential Requirements

- Current registration as a Registered Surveyor in Australia
- Degree qualification in Surveying or a related discipline
- Demonstrated experience managing surveying projects, including budgets, schedules, and client relationships
- Strong knowledge of surveying legislation, industry standards, and best-practice methodologies
- Proven leadership skills and a passion for mentoring and developing others
- Experience using modern surveying equipment, GNSS technology, and survey software
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Desirable

- Current professional industry memberships
- Experience across land development, civil infrastructure, and engineering projects
- Exposure to business development, proposal preparation, and client management activities
- Experience working within a consulting environment
