Heavy Rigid Tilt Tray Truck Driver - Ongoing work

Operating out of Dingley, we specialise in using Heavy Rigid Tilt Tray Trucks, to service inner city build projects.

Our fleet is equipped to transport a variety of goods, including construction materials, oversized, heavy machinery, and shipping containers. We are seeking skilled Heavy Rigid Tilt Tray Truck Drivers to join our growing team.

About the role:

As a Heavy Rigid Tilt Tray Truck Driver you will play a crucial role in delivering safe and timely transport services to our clients. Operating our specialized trucks, you will be responsible for loading, transporting, and unloading various types of cargo. Shifts can range from Day or Nights, but you will predominantly be allocated the one shift.

Responsibilities:

Safely operate Heavy Rigid Tilt Tray Trucks to transport construction materials, heavy machinery, and shipping containers

Conduct pre-trip, OHS reporting and runsheet documentation

Engage in carrying out Chain of Responsibility initiatives

Operating tilt slide truck to pick up and drop off goods

Driving according to dedicated truck routes

Polite customer service during dealings with clients





Keep interior and exterior of truck clean at all times

Secure cargo properly using straps, chains, and other appropriate restraints inline with NHVR regulations

Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving and maintain a clean driving record

Requirements:

Hold current Heavy Rigid (HR) Manual driver's license with a clean driving record

Proven experience driving Heavy Rigid Tilt Tray Trucks or similar heavy haulage vehiclesq

Strong understanding of load securement techniques and safety protocols

Excellent driving skills and familiarity with Melbourne's road network

Ability to work independently without supervision and complete tasks safely

Positive communication and interpersonal skills
