CV's Renewables team is seeking an ambitious Commercial Administrator / Assistant Contract Administrator to join our growing team. Working alongside experienced commercial and project professionals, you'll gain hands‐on exposure to major renewable energy, industrial, and electrical infrastructure projects across Australia.

This is more than an administration role. You'll be involved in contract reviews, commercial risk assessment, contract administration, variations, claims, and project support, developing the foundations for a future career as a Commercial Manager, Contract Manager, Project Manager, or Commercial Lead.

About the Role

n

Reporting to the Business Unit Manager and supporting Senior Project Managers, you'll assist with the commercial and contractual management of a portfolio of projects while developing practical experience across all aspects of project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

n

Contract & Commercial Support

n

n
- Assist with the review of client contracts, subcontracts and purchase agreements
n
- Support the preparation of commercial and technical departures
n
- Identify contractual risks and commercial obligations
n
- Assist with client and subcontractor commercial negotiations
n

n

Contract Administration

n

n
- Maintain contract and obligations registers
n
- Track variations, contractual notices,



claims and key dates
n
- Prepare and manage commercial correspondence
n
- Ensure accurate document control and contract compliance
n

n

Project & Commercial Management

n

n
- Assist with variation pricing and claim preparation
n
- Support monthly commercial reporting and project performance reviews
n
- Maintain records to support contractual entitlements
n
- Support procurement and subcontract administration activities
n

n

Project Delivery Support

n

n
- Work closely with Project Managers across multiple projects
n
- Attend commercial and project meetings
n
- Prepare reports, action registers and meeting minutes
n
- Contribute to commercial governance and process improvement initiatives
n

n

About You

n

We're looking for a motivated and commercially minded individual who is eager to learn and build a long‐term career in the construction, infrastructure or renewable energy sectors.

n

You Will Have

n

Final year or recently completed degree in:

n

n
- Construction Management
n
- Commerce
n
- Law
n
- Or a related discipline
n
- Robust written and verbal communication skills
n
- Excellent attention to detail
n
- Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills
n
- Analytical thinking and commercial awareness
n
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
n

n

Highly Regarded

n

n
- Exposure to construction, engineering, infrastructure or utilities projects
n
- Understanding of Australian Standard contracts
n
- Familiarity with AS4000, AS2124, AS4902 or EPC-style contracts
n
- Experience with project reporting or commercial administration
n
