Key Responsibilities

- Providecompassionate,high-qualityandperson-centredcaretoresidents

- Assistwiththecoordinationofclinicalandpersonalcarerequirementsacrosstheresidence
- Providesocialandemotionalsupportthatpromotesresidentwellbeinganddignity
- Supportmedicationmanagementwithintheauthorisedscopeofpractice
- Performmedication-relateddutiesinaccordancewithprofessionalrequirements,legislationandworkplaceprocedures
- Assistwithnutritionandhydrationmonitoringandsupport
- Participateinpressurecaremanagementandotherongoingclinicalcareactivities




- Workcloselywithseniorclinicalstaffandnursingteamstomaintaincontinuityofcare
- Provideguidanceandsupporttocarestaffduringshifts
- Promoteeffectivecommunicationbetweenresidents,familiesandcareteammembers
- Maintainaccuratedocumentationanduserelevantworkplaceinformationsystems
- Followworkplacehealthandsafety,infectionpreventionandcontrolrequirements

Requirements & Eligibility

- DiplomaofEnrolledNursingorequivalentrecognisedqualification
- CurrentAHPRAregistrationasanEndorsedEnrolledNurse
- Authorisationtoadministermedicationwithintherelevantprofessionalscope
- CurrentNationalPoliceCheck
- NDISWorkerScreeningClearanceorwillingnesstoobtaintherequiredclearance
- Abilitytoproviderelevantqualifications,registrationandemploymentcredentialsforeligibilityassessment
- Strongcommitmenttoprofessionalintegrity,honestyandresponsiblecare
- Excellentverbal,writtenandinterpersonalcommunicationskills
- Abilitytoleadandsupportacareteameffectively
