Experienced Full time or Part-time Vet Nurse required

A fantastic opportunity exists for a passionate and experienced Veterinary Nurse looking to develop their career. You will work regular afternoon and weekend hospital shifts in a busy 24-hour emergency hospital located in Regentville, NSW. WellPet Vets has a team of over 60 vets and nurses working within a dynamic and well-equipped hospital environment committed to providing the very highest level of care to patients and clients.

Key responsibilities
n
n
- Management of patient care and ensuring best possible outcomes for patients and clients
n
- Communicating with clients on a regular basis both face to face and over the phone
n
- Reception and administration duties including invoicing, data entry and record keeping
n
- Providing medical care and treatments to patients
n
- Performing basic diagnostic testing
n
- Assisting veterinarians in care and management of hospital and surgical patients
n
- Working as a team and sharing roles on Hospital, Reception, Surgery and Ward when required
n
n
About you
n
n
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar experienced veterinary nursing role
n
- Hold a Certificate 4 in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent experience
n
- Enthusiastic and outgoing personality
n
- Excellent phone manner and customer service and communication skills
n
- Committed to high standards of patient care
n
- Interest in training and mentoring junior veterinary nurses
n
- Experience using RxWorks (desired but not essential)
n
- Experience using Vet Check (desired but not essential)
n
- Open to regular feedback and eager for continual self-improvement
n
- Willing to work regular afternoon and evening shifts during the week and on weekends
n
