Pillar Commercial Projects is looking for a reliable and hard-working Trade Assistant / Labourer to join our commercial shopfitting team.
This is a hands-on role supporting our experienced shopfitters across retail and commercial fit-out projects.
A key part of the position will be driving our company van and completing deliveries between our factory, suppliers and job sites.
The Role
Your day-to-day work will include:
- Assisting experienced shopfitters and trades on site
- Driving the company van for deliveries between our factory, suppliers and sites
- Loading and unloading tools, materials, joinery and equipment
- Site set-up, protection and pack-down
- General labouring and construction duties
- Keeping sites clean, organised and safe
About You
We're looking for someone who is reliable, punctual, organised and willing to work, previous construction, shopfitting or trade-assistant experience would be an advantage.
A current driver's licence, good driving history and confidence driving a work van is essential, truck license an advantage.
Good communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of the team.
White Card is required.
