An exciting opportunity for a full time fixed term 12-month Dermatology Fellow to join an internationally recognised dermatology practice. The role offers exposure to a broad range of medical and procedural dermatology, hair disorders and clinical research opportunities within a highly collaborative specialist environment.

Key responsibilities

- Consult with a variety of adult and paediatric patients in clinic – up to 10 sessions per week
- Review patient referrals, take their medical history, examine, diagnose, treat, refer to other specialists, request laboratory testing, prescribe medication and associated therapies, report back to referring doctor, maintain patient clinical records, review results and communicate to patients
- Perform non-invasive biopsy or excision procedures
- Discuss skin healthcare with patients
- Work with support team of nurses, reception, patient coordinators, medical administration and practice managers contributing to smooth running of clinic
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, coupled with an empathetic demeanour
- Willing to refer patients to relevant clinical trials, where appropriate

About you

- Have completed a minimum of one year dermatology training in Australia
- In addition to skin disorders and skin cancer experience,



must have subspeciality experience in treatment of hair disorders including Androgenetic Alopecia, Alopecia Areata, CCA, FDS, DLE including most up-to-date treatments such as PRP and medication regimes
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Available for immediate start
- Willingness to travel between clinic locations

Remuneration package and full employment benefits and entitlements provided up to $160,000 plus superannuation based on experience.
