The opportunity

As a Maternal and Child Health Sleep and Settling FocusNurse, you'll play an important role in supporting childrenand families within the Hobsons Bay community. Workingwithin the Community Child Health Service, you'll deliverspecialist sleep and settling support through outreach andtelehealth, while also contributing to high-qualityuniversal Maternal and Child Health services that promotehealthy child development and positive family outcomes.

What you'lldo

- Provide high-quality Maternal and Child Health services that support children's health,development and family wellbeing.
- Monitor, report on and support achievement of Sleep andSettling program outcomes and targets.
- Providecomprehensive Maternal and Child Health servicesincluding assessment, health promotion and earlyintervention.
- Buildstrong partnerships with families, health professionalsand community services to support coordinatedcare.
- Maintain accurate client records and contribute tocontinuous improvement and skilled developmentactivities.

What you need to succeed

- Qualifications in Division 1 Nursing, Midwifery andChild & Family Health Nursing with current AHPRAregistration.
- Extensive Maternal and Child Health nursing experiencein community or local government settings.




- Strongexpertise in the Sleep and Settling Model of Care andsupporting complex family presentations.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement andrelationship-building skills.
- Soundclinical judgement, leadership capability andproficiency with digital systems such as CDIS.

Pre-Employment Requirements

Progressed candidates will be required to complete a NationalPolice Record Check, a Pre-Employment Medical Check, QualificationCheck and a Working With Children Check (WWCC). Candidates must also holda valid Victorian Driver's License.

Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident orhold a valid work permit or visa with full unrestricted workingrights. Work eligibility will be checked as part of the recruitmentprocess.
