Bluestone Recruitment is partnering with a well-established national construction services business to appoint a National Technical Manager - Hot Water Solutions to establish and lead a newly created national division.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced hot water professional with strong industry relationships and a background in high-volume installation environments to take ownership of a new division and build the operational framework for national growth.

The initial focus will be establishing the division across VIC & NSW before expanding into QLD, SA.

n

You will become the division's technical expert and licensing lead, developing the standards, systems, processes and subcontractor network required to successfully integrate a new hot water product into an established volume new home installation model.

The Opportunity

n

Working closely with senior leadership and supported by established Construction and Operations teams, you will have autonomy to develop and shape the division from the ground up.

- Acting as the technical lead, product expert and national licensing lead for the hot water division.
n
- Supporting licensing requirements as the division expands into other states.
n
- Developing technical manuals, installation guidelines and quality standards.
n
- Ensuring compliance with relevant state and national hot water regulations and standards.
n
- Developing scalable installation processes specifically for high-volume new home construction.
n
- Establishing installation scopes,



methodologies and pricing models.
n
- Integrating hot water installations into the existing national installation model.
n
- Building, recruiting and managing a national subcontractor network.
n
- Leveraging your existing industry relationships to establish and grow the subcontractor network.
n
- Monitoring installation quality, compliance, productivity and subcontractor performance.
n
- Establishing the systems and processes required to support future national growth.

About You

n

We are looking for an experienced hot water professional who combines solid technical knowledge with practical industry experience and established subcontractor relationships.

n

You will ideally have:

n

n
- Current and appropriate hot water licensing.
n
- Experience managing or coordinating high-volume installation programs, ideally within residential construction.
n
- Strong knowledge of hot water installation requirements, regulations and compliance.
n
- Established relationships across the hot water installation and subcontractor market.
n
- Experience developing installation standards, processes or technical documentation.
n
- The ability to build and manage a high-performing subcontractor network.
n
- Strong commercial understanding, including installation scoping and pricing.
n
- The capability to establish systems and processes that can be scaled nationally.
n
- A hands-on, solutions-focused approach with the ability to operate autonomously.
