About the role

A Federal Government client is seeking an experienced Senior Profisee Developer / Engineer to support the development, implementation and ongoing operation of an enterprise Master Data Management platform. This is a hands‐on senior technical role focused on configuring Profisee MDM, developing integrations, implementing data quality processes and supporting the platform throughout the implementation lifecycle.

You will work closely with solution architects, data architects, engineers, business analysts, data stewards and business stakeholders to deliver an enterprise-grade MDM platform hosted on Microsoft Azure. The role sits within a large-scale transformation program focused on modernising business capabilities, improving data management and replacing ageing ICT systems.

The role is suited to a Senior Profisee Developer, Senior Data Engineer, MDM Engineer or Technical Consultant with proven Profisee implementation experience within enterprise environments.

Key responsibilities

n

n
- Develop, configure and support enterprise Master Data Management solutions using Profisee MDM.
n
- Design, develop and maintain integrations between Profisee, enterprise applications, data platforms and downstream systems using APIs, Azure services and ETL/ELT technologies.
n
- Implement data quality controls, validation processes, matching and survivorship rules, stewardship workflows and governance controls.
n
- Deliver MDM capabilities that support consistent, trusted and governed master data across business and technology domains.
n
- Work with architects, engineers, business analysts, data stewards and delivery teams to translate business requirements into scalable and supportable technical solutions.
n
- Engage with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand data challenges and provide technical advice.
n




- Take ownership of technical work packages across analysis, development, testing, deployment and operational support.
n
- Investigate and resolve complex platform, integration and data issues across development, test and production environments.
n
- Support platform reliability, security, performance and maintainability through monitoring, optimisation and technical improvement.
n
- Contribute to engineering standards, DevOps practices, deployment automation and operational processes.
n
- Produce and maintain technical, operational and support documentation.
n
- Provide technical guidance, mentoring and knowledge sharing across the delivery team.
n
- Identify and communicate risks, issues and dependencies relating to MDM and data integration activities.
n

Desirable criteria

n

n
- Experience implementing Master Data Management solutions within Azure and/or Microsoft Fabric environments.
n
- Experience working within Australian Government, regulated industries or large enterprise environments.
n
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for enterprise data platforms.
n
- Relevant certifications in areas such as:n n
- Microsoft Azure Architecture

- Strong experience working with relational databases and SQL within enterprise environments.

- Strong troubleshooting skills with experience resolving complex platform, integration and data‐related issues.
n
- Robust knowledge of data modelling concepts, metadata management and data quality frameworks.
n
- Experience implementing data validation, data quality rules and governance controls within enterprise environments.
n
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
n
- Ability to work collaboratively across architecture, engineering, business and delivery teams.
