About the Role

n

We are seeking applications for a Laboratory Technician to join our modern, NATA-accredited laboratory. This role will be working the afternoon shift from 1 pm - 9 pm. The role involves preparing samples for analysis and requires a versatile individual who can adapt to various tasks and work across multiple teams. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of the laboratory processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Sample Preparation & Analysis: Prepare and analyse samples, ensuring tests are conducted within the required holding time.
n
- Quality Control: Follow all quality control protocols to maintain high standards.
n
- Safety:



Comply with laboratory safety procedures and proper PPE usage.
n
- Documentation: Complete all documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
n
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organised workspace through regular housekeeping.

About You

The ideal candidate will possess:

- Exceptional attention to detail

- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)

- Ability to maintain competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

- Strong teamwork skills

- A degree in Science with a Chemistry major is preferred

- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable

- Required to work the 1-9 pm afternoon shift
