Are you a caring, reliable person who speaks Turkish and English and enjoys helping others?

Sensible Care is looking for a Turkish- and English-speaking Casual Care Worker to support a client in Oakleigh South. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide personalised care, companionship, and practical support while helping a client feel comfortable, respected, and supported in their own home.

Turkish language skills are essential for this role, as you will communicate directly with the client in Turkish. Good English communication skills are also required when communicating with the client, family members, and the Sensible Care team.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Assist the client with personal care and daily living activities, as required
- Communicate with and support the client in Turkish
- Communicate clearly in English with the client, family members, and care team
- Provide Domestic Assistance and help with household tasks
- Assist with meal preparation and everyday routines
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Build a warm, respectful,



and trusting relationship with the client
- Follow the client's care plan and individual support requirements
- Observe and report any changes in the client's needs or wellbeing
- Communicate with family members and the Sensible Care team as needed
- Follow health, safety, and infection-control requirements

About You

You will be someone who:

- Speaks Turkish fluently or is highly proficient in Turkish
- Has previous experience providing Personal Care Assistance — preferred
- Has Domestic Assistance experience — also welcome
- Has an Individual Support or Aged Care qualification — preferred
- Has a nursing background — highly regarded
- Is caring, patient, reliable, and respectful
- Has strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Is comfortable working in a client's home
- Is available on weekdays between 8:30 am and 5:30 pm, with morning availability preferred
- Holds a current Australian driver's licence
- Has comprehensive car insurance and access to a reliable vehicle
