Parts Interpreter – Come Join the Haulotte Team!

If you’re the kind of person who can look at a parts diagram and think “Yep, I know exactly what they need”, we want to hear from you! Haulotte Australia is looking for a Parts Interpreter to join our team. We’re after someone who knows their way around parts, enjoys helping customers and doesn’t mind getting stuck in when things get busy.

This isn’t a boring desk job where every day looks the same. You’ll be talking to customers, tracking down parts, working with suppliers, coordinating orders and occasionally getting your hands dirty in the warehouse.

Basically, you’ll be the person who helps make sure the right part gets to the right customer at the right time.

What will you be doing?

Your days will be varied, but you’ll be responsible for things like:

- Helping customers with parts enquiries over the phone and via email
- Interpreting parts and helping customers identify exactly what they need
- Advising customers on parts, pricing, freight and delivery timeframes
- Generating packing slips and making sure parts are ready for picking and packing
- Making sure parts get to customers promptly and accurately
- Coordinating and following up back orders
- Liaising with Lorette, suppliers and our internal team to keep everything moving
- Generating accurate purchase orders within the required timeframes
- Serving customers at our spare parts counter
- Coordinating daily tasks and keeping things organised
- Jumping in to help out in the warehouse when needed
- Getting involved with stocktake when required




- Following all OH&S; policies and procedures
- And, of course, doing whatever is needed to provide our customers with a great experience

Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for someone with personality, initiative and a genuine desire to help people.

You’ll ideally have:

- Previous experience in parts interpreting, parts sales, machinery, automotive, access equipment or a similar industry
- A good understanding of parts identification and interpretation
- Outstanding communication skills — you’re comfortable talking to customers and suppliers
- A strong customer-service mindset
- Excellent attention to detail. Getting the right part matters!
- Good computer and administration skills
- The ability to juggle multiple tasks without losing your cool
- Good organisation and time-management skills
- The ability to work independently but also be a great team player
- A willingness to roll up your sleeves and help out wherever needed
