RedGum warmly invites applications for a Kindergarten Teacher to join our skilled and passionate Early Childhood team as the teacher of one of our two Kindergarten groups.

RedGum Kindergarten includes a Bush Kinder program and provides a beautiful, home-like environment where each teacher is supported by a Teachers Assistant.

Set on a beautiful bushland campus near Castlemaine, RedGum offers a supportive and cooperative staff culture, an active College, a rich Steiner/Waldorf approach to early childhood education and a welcoming school community.

The successful applicant will have:

- An approved Early Childhood teaching qualification.
- Eligibility for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
- Experience or training in Steiner/Waldorf education,



or a willingness to undertake Steiner Education Training.
- A strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practice.
- Warm and effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Artistic, musical, handcraft or practical skills and interests.
- Current First Aid and Child Safe qualifications.

Applications are welcomed from both experienced Steiner educators and teachers who are aligned with our ethos and pedagogy and interested in deepening their understanding of Steiner education.
