About the role

The position of Casual Disability Support Worker provides support, lifestyle activities and life enhancement skills to individual participants with disability. Disability Support Workers work closely with participants to ensure individualised support needs are met in hub and social outreach settings. In addition, the Casual Disability Support Workers assist with the delivery of the programs, including personal care services to participants in group settings or where needed on a one-on-one basis. Working in a collaborative team the community programs are customised for adults with disabilities consistent with goals and policies of Mambourin Enterprises.

What we are looking for:

- People located in Melbourne'sWestern Suburbs
- Disability Support Workers who are available to work on various days of the week Monday to Friday – 8.30 am to 4.00pm.
- Computer literacyand the ability to use andupdate program notes electronically usinga smart phone or PC
- People who haveinterests and hobbies that they would like to utilise to assist inrunning programs -your chosen interest such as gaming, photography, art, woodworking, gardening, sewing, music, dancing and sport and cooking.
- People happy to initially work casually, with opportunities to move to permanent part time and full time in the future.
- Willingness to travel and work across multiple Mambourin day program centres as required.

- First Aid and CPR Certification
