Brisbane Irrigation Systems is looking for a hard working and reliable Irrigation Installer/Labourer. We are a well respected, established, family owned and run business with over years 30 years experience in domestic and commercial irrigation design, installation and servicing.

The successful applicant will be required to meet deadlines, liaise with contractors and clients, be organised and be able to work unsupervised as well as part of a team. Hands on installation of irrigation to a high professional standard is required.

A full time position with above ward wages is offered to the successful applicant after a short probation period. Hourly rate will be negotiable based on experience.

Immediate start is available for the right candidate.

Salary

$35 - $40 per hour + Super (negotiated based on experience and qualifications).

Essential skills

- Labouring experience (Irrigation installation experience not essential but would be an advantage)
- Physically fit
- Punctual and reliable
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Problem solving and time management

Preferred additional skills (not essential)

- Irrigation installing experience




- Pump installation experience - on the job training will be provided if no pump experience.
- Experience in operating a dingo mini loader or excavator would be an advantage
- Additional competencies such as working in Confined Spaces, Working at Heights, Excavator ticket, EWP ticket are highly regarded.

Licences Required

- Driver's licence (manual licence preferred)
- White card(the successful applicant will be required to obtain one if don't already have one)
- Blue card(the successful applicant will be required to obtain one if don't already have one)
- Criminal History Check (the successful applicant will be required to obtain one if don't already have one)

Training

Initialtraining will be on the job. If not already qualified, formal training in irrigation will also be provided, which on successful completion would provide the qualification of a Certificate III in Irrigation (Trade Level). You will also receive ongoing training & support from Industry leaders which will allow for career development & growth opportunities.
