We're working with a highly regarded boutique commercial law firm who is looking for their next Commercial Lawyer to join their highly regarded team. This is an exciting opportunity for a Lawyer with a background in commercial transactions to join a passionate team that services a broad client base across intellectual property, franchising, and business advisory with the added variety of migration law exposure.

The Role:

n

You'll be working closely with senior lawyers across a wide range of commercial matters, including:

n

n
- Trade mark registrations, oppositions, and IP Australia hearings
n
- Drafting and reviewing leases, franchise agreements, business and share sale agreements, licensing agreements, and shareholder agreements
n
- Tailored contract drafting and legal advisory
n
- Supporting migration matters, particularly employer-sponsored visa work, as part of a collaborative cross-practice team
n

About You:

n

You're a self-motivated, confident legal qualified with at least 2 years' PAE and experience in commercial law.

Ideally, you'll also bring:

- A solid understanding of business transactions; franchising experience is highly regarded
n
- Ability to manage files with autonomy and confidence
n
- Experience or interest in migration law
n
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
n
- Robust communication skills and a team-first attitude
n
- The ability to meet billable targets and work without micro-management
n

Solicitors with a litigation background who are comfortable transitioning into commercial work are also encouraged to apply.
