Established in 1998, BPA Early Learning is a not-for-profit Early Years Manager providing kindergarten and childcare services across Melbourne’s western suburbs.

Today, more than 400 employees support over 2,500 children and their families across over 30 early childhood services, working in partnership with parents, communities and local and state government to deliver high-quality early childhood education and care.

The Opportunity

We are seeking 3 dedicated Co Educator to join our Dobson Kindergarten at Maidstone.

Dobson Kindergarten is a warm, community-focused place where children learn through play and feel safe to explore, connect, and grow. Families are an important part of the Dobson community. We welcome family involvement and value culture, identity, and the experiences each family brings.

Our educators work as a team and bring a range of experience and qualifications. They continue to learn and reflect on practice so we can provide a high-quality program for every child.

About the Role

As a Co-Educator, you will play an important role in supporting the delivery of a high-quality Kindergarten program while contributing to a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment where every child can learn, develop and thrive.

- Support the implementation of engaging, play -based learning programs aligned with the Victorian Early Years Learning and development Framework.
- Support the implementation of educational programs, children's daily routines,



and contribute to maintaining compliance with the National Quality Framework and BPA policies and procedures.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, accountability and child safety across the service. Inclusive learning environment that facilitates rich interactions and supports children’s play, learning and development.
- Work collaboratively with high performing team to achieve positive outcomes for children.
- Demonstrated experience and confidence in contributing to kindergarten planning, documentation, observations and reflective practice.
- Demonstrated experience working with children with additional needs, disability and/or developmental delays in an early childhood or Kindergarten setting.

Essential Requirements

- Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education Care. (or equivalent as approved by ACECQA).
- High – Level understanding of the Victorian Early Years Learning Development Framework, Education Care Services National Law and Regulations, The National Quality Framework and Child Secure Standards.
- Current Working with Children Check and National Police Check.
- A valid working rights to work in Australia.
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications.
- Experience working with children with a wide range of diverse additional needs.

Roster:

1: Monday to Friday- 37 hrs / Weekly

2: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday- 20hrs/ Weekly

3: Monday to Friday- 30.5 hrs/Weekly

Diploma Qualified salary: $32.33an Hours, plus paid school term break
