About the Role

You’ll install ducted, split and multi‑head air‑conditioning systems in homes across Melbourne, with a large part of our work involving the replacement of old gas ducted heating with modern reverse‑cycle systems.

You’ll work alongside our electricians, gasfitters and installation support team and take ownership of the quality of each installation from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

- Install ducted, split and multi‑head air‑conditioning systems
- Work with brands including Midea, Daikin, Mitsubishi, Rinnai and Panasonic
- Replace existing gas ducted heating with reverse‑cycle systems
- Install indoor and outdoor units, ductwork, return air, copper pipework and drains
- Complete nitrogen pressure testing, deep vacuum and correct charging
- Commission and test systems before handover
- Show customers how to operate their new system
- Complete required compliance documentation
- Take clear photos and maintain job notes for VEU compliance
- Record materials, variations and any additional works
- Keep worksites clean and treat customers’ homes with respect

What You’ll Need

- Relevant Victorian refrigerated air‑conditioning/plumbing registration or licence
- Current ARCtick Refrigerant Handling Licence
- Strong ducted and multi‑head installation experience
- Current driver’s licence
- White Card
- Comfortable working in roof spaces and under floors where required
- Good communication with customers
- Strong attention to installation quality
- Reliable and team‑focused

Highly Regarded

- Gasfitting licence or registration
- VEU installation experience
- Experience replacing gas ducted heating systems
- Experience leading installation crews
