We're looking for someone with proven experience growing a YouTube channel! This is a strategy role with production ownership.

You will conduct research to determine what content should be made, why it has the potential to perform, how it should be positioned, and ensure each video is executed effectively from concept through to publication. This is not primarily a filming or video editing role.

You'll work from our studio Fitzroy directly with the creator of an established YouTube channel with a large audience, and you'll be part of a small team.

We get millions of views per month worldwide and we're looking for someone to take ownership and level up our entire operation. If you have what it takes, let's talk!

Key responsibilities

- Develop and refine the channel's YouTube content strategy
- Research trends, competitors and audience interests to identify strong video opportunities
- Generate and develop high-potential video ideas and formats
- Develop titles, thumbnails, hooks and overall video positioning
- Review scripts and concepts with a focus on storytelling and audience retention




- Analyse YouTube performance and use insights to improve future content
- Brief and coordinate editors, thumbnail designers and other creatives
- Review videos throughout production and provide clear creative feedback
- Manage videos from concept through to publicationWork directly with the creator to turn subject-matter expertise into compelling YouTube content

About you

- Proven experience working on successful YouTube channels
- Strong understanding of YouTube strategy, viewer behaviour and analytics
- Excellent instincts around ideas, titles, thumbnails, hooks and storytelling
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Experience working with editors, designers and other creatives
- Ability to manage multiple videos and take ownership of the production process
- Solid communication skills and ability to work independently
- Ability to show channels or videos you have helped grow
- Examples of successful video ideas, titles or thumbnails you contributed to
- Evidence of using analytics to improve content performance
