Key Responsibilities

- Performroutinevehicleservicingandscheduledmaintenance
- Carryoutmechanicalrepairsonlightvehiclesand4WDs
- Diagnosemechanicalandelectricalfaultsusingappropriatediagnosticequipment
- Conductvehicleinspectionsandidentifyrepairrequirements
- Repairandreplacecomponentsincludingbrakes,suspension,clutches,timingbeltsandenginecomponents
- Maintainaclean,organisedandsafeworkshopenvironment
- Followworkplacehealthandsafetyproceduresatalltimes
- Workcollaborativelywiththeworkshopteamtoachievedailytargets
- Assistwithworkshopoperationsandsupervisorydutieswhenrequired
- Deliverhigh-qualityworkmanshipandexcellentcustomerservice

Requirements & Eligibility

- CertificateIIIinLightVehicleMechanicalTechnologyorequivalenttradequalification
- Minimum3yearsofpost-tradeexperienceasaLightVehicleMechanic
- Strongexperienceinservicing,repairinganddiagnosingawiderangeofvehiclemakesandmodels
- Experiencereplacingtimingbelts,clutchesandheadgasketsishighlydesirable
- AirConditioningServiceLicenceisadvantageousbutnotessential
- Validdriver'slicence
