Hervey Bay Hospital's Emergency Department is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the team on a 4-week contract commencing as soon as possible. This is an urgent placement opportunity in a busy, high-acuity environment where you'll work alongside a dedicated clinical team delivering emergency care to the local community. Based in Hervey Bay, Queensland, this contract role offers the chance to make an immediate impact in a fast-paced setting.

- 4-week contract, commencing ASAP in a high-acuity emergency department
- Work with an experienced team in a busy, dynamic clinical environment
- Prospect to practise emergency nursing in a Queensland Health facility

Preferred Requirements

- Demonstrated experience working in an emergency department setting




- Strong clinical assessment and triage skills in a high-volume environment
- Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification or equivalent
- Ability to prioritise and respond effectively to acute presentations
- Proficiency with electronic medical records and clinical documentation

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent, with current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Post-graduate qualification or experience in Emergency Nursing
- Additional emergency-focused certifications (e.g. TNCC, ENPC) are advantageous
