Leading Hand Electrician - Commercial / Maintenance

A Grade Maintenance is a leading multi-trade maintenance company based in Melbourne’s Western Suburbs, providing electrical, plumbing, carpentry and general maintenance services across Victoria. We work with major government and commercial clients delivering quality, safety and reliability on every job.

About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced A Grade Electrician with a strong commercial and maintenance background to join our team as a Leading Hand. You’ll lead a small team, organise jobs and schedules, and deliver work across our metro and regional contracts.

This is a full time, 12-month contract with strong potential for extension, supported by a stable pipeline of work.

What you will do:

- Install and wire lighting, intercoms and electrical systems
- Troubleshoot electrical and communication faults
- Inspect systems for safety and compliance
- Provide prompt, professional client service
- Complete jobs safely, efficiently and to a high standard




- Participate in a rotating on-call roster with additional earning potential
- Lead and support a team of A Grade Electricians

What we are looking for:

- Valid A-Grade Electrical Licence
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Leading Hand or supervisory role
- Experience in maintenance, government or commercial contracts (highly regarded)
- White Card
- Valid Driver’s Licence
- Police Check and Working with Children’s Check

- $50–$60 per hour including penalties
