Role: Maintenance Electrician

Rate:$45-52 an hour + 15% shift loading

n

Roster: Monday to Friday 2:30pm – 10:30pm

n

OVERTIME AVAILIABLE

We are currently seeking a trade-qualified Maintenance Electrician to join a leading FMCG manufacturing business.

n

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrician looking for a stable Monday-to-Friday afternoon shift within a busy and highly automated production environment.

n

FMCG or food manufacturing experience is highly regarded, but not essential.

n

The Role

n

Working as part of an experienced maintenance team, you will be responsible for keeping production equipment running safely, reliably and efficiently.

n

Your responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Carrying out planned and preventative electrical maintenance
n
- Attending to electrical breakdowns and fault finding
n
- Troubleshooting production and automated machinery
n
- Diagnosing faults across electrical control systems
n
- Working with motors, sensors, PLCs, VSDs and control systems
n
- Carrying out electrical repairs,



modifications and installations
n
- Assisting with machinery upgrades and continuous improvement projects
n
- Maintaining a robust focus on safety and electrical compliance
n

n

About You

n

We are looking for a hands-on and reliable Maintenance Electrician who has:

n

n
- A recognised Electrical trade qualification
n
- Previous industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience
n
- Strong electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
n
- Experience working with automated production equipment
n
- Knowledge of PLCs, sensors, motors and VSDs
n
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
- A proactive approach to preventative maintenance
n
- FMCG or food manufacturing experience – highly desirable
n
