SJG PLUMBING AND DRAINAGE are a well-established family owned plumbing company looking for a qualified tradesmen to join their team on a permanent full time basis.
Key responsibilities
- Installation and maintenance of plumbing and drainage systems.
- Test, troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing and drainage systems to ensure they are functioning properly and make appropriate recommendations for repairs and replacements.
- Maintain tools and equipment to ensure that they are in valuable working condition and safe to use.
- Comply with safety legislations, regulations and standards including use of appropriate PPEs and following all safety procedures.
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs, explain the work that you will be doing.
- Accurate recording keeping of the job, including time spent on each job, material used, and any problems encountered.
- Comply with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain current knowledge of state regulations affecting plumbing work.
- Maintain and update industry specific license.
About you
- Fully qualified and Licensed plumber - Certificate III or Certificate IV in Plumbing
- Gas fitting license/experience highly recommended (not essential)
- Current and valid Qld Driver's License
- Construction Industry White Card
- Ability to work cooperatively with other trades
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
