About the role The Department of Justice provides an entry level chance for Aboriginal candidates each year. As a trainee, you will work full time in the Department – learning and developing a range of public administration skills that supports your business area.

Your duties will include a range of computer-based activities and tasks including:

- Customer service via phone, email and in person
- Data entry, file management, record keeping and word processing
- Utilising Departmental systems and Microsoft Office
- Other duties as required by the business area

During the program, you will complete a Certificate III in Government and will be supported by the Aboriginal Workforce Development team. This is a state-wide opportunity, and location is not a barrier to participate in the program.
