Role Description This full-time on-site role, based in Mulgrave, VIC, is responsible for managing the accounts receivable function to ensure accurate, timely collection of customer payments and maintenance of customer accounts.

The Accounts Receivable

Officer will issue and reconcile invoices, monitor outstanding balances, process payments, and follow up on overdue accounts in line with company policies. The role involves preparing regular aging reports, assisting with month-end closing, and supporting internal and external audits related to receivables. The officer will liaise with customers and internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies, apply credit notes, and maintain up-to-date records in the finance system. This position requires close collaboration with the finance team to improve cash flow, support forecasting, and maintain strong internal controls.

Qualifications

- Strong accounts receivable and general accounting skills, including invoicing, reconciliations, and collections.




- Proficiency with ERP or accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, MYOB, or similar) and solid Excel skills for reporting and analysis.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, documentation, and recordkeeping.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for liaising with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Problem-solving and analytical abilities to identify and resolve billing and payment discrepancies.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work reliably in an in office team environment.
- Previous experience in an accounts receivable or finance support role; experience in consumer electronics or retail/FMCG is beneficial.
- Relevant qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
