About the role We are seeking an enthusiastic and versatile Allied Health Assistant/Receptionist to join the team at Evolve With Us Allied Health in Mount Annan, NSW. This is a casual position that offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients. You will be at the heart of our operations, supporting both our allied health professionals and our clients by providing administrative assistance and hands-on support in a dynamic healthcare environment.
This role is integral to ensuring smooth daily operations and delivering exceptional service to all who walk through our doors.
What you'll be doing
- Greeting clients warmly upon arrival and managing reception duties, including answering phones and scheduling appointments
- Assisting allied health practitioners during treatment sessions by providing patient support and preparing therapy areas
- Maintaining accurate and confidential client records and updating patient management systems
- Processing payments and managing invoicing in accordance with clinic procedures
- Performing general administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and correspondence
- Ensuring the clinic environment is clean, organised and well-maintained
- Providing support during clinical procedures as directed by allied health professionals
- Communicating effectively with clients to address enquiries and concerns
- Contributing to a welcoming and professional atmosphere that reflects our clinic values
What we're looking for
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse clients
- Organisational abilities and attention to detail in managing administrative tasks
- Reliability and flexibility, with the capacity to adapt to a casual work schedule
- A genuine interest in healthcare and supporting clients on their rehabilitation journey
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office, Canva or similar software
- The ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Customer service experience, whether in healthcare, hospitality or related sectors
- A current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain one)
- Desirable: Prior experience in a medical or allied health setting, or formal training in health services
