Next Generation Glass & Double Glazing is seeking an experienced Aluminium Window Installer to join our team on a full-time basis based in Jandakot, WA 6164. This is a hands-on position that plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality window and glazing installations to our valued customers. You will be responsible for the professional installation of aluminium windows and double glazing systems, ensuring every project meets our exacting standards and customer expectations.
This role is essential to maintaining our reputation as a leading provider of premium glazing solutions in the region.
Key responsibilities
- Installing aluminium windows, frames and double glazing systems to customers' homes and commercial properties with precision and care
- Measuring and assessing installation sites to ensure accurate fitting and optimal performance
- Preparing installation areas, including removing old windows and frames where necessary
- Ensuring all installations comply with relevant building codes, safety regulations and company standards
- Sealing, caulking and weatherproofing windows to prevent leaks and maximise energy efficiency
- Using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively throughout the installation process
- Conducting quality checks on completed work to ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment at all installation sites
- Communicating effectively with customers, supervisors and team members to coordinate schedules and resolve any issues
- Transporting materials and equipment to job sites and ensuring proper storage and handling
What we're looking for
- Proven experience installing aluminium windows and double glazing systems in domestic and/or commercial settings
- Strong knowledge of aluminium frame types, glazing specifications and installation techniques
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools commonly used in window installation
- Ability to read and interpret installation plans, measurements and technical specifications
- A solid understanding of building codes and safety regulations relevant to window installation
- Physical fitness and the ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to different installation scenarios
- Reliable, punctual and professional approach to work
- Valid driving licence and own reliable transport
- Current First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain one
- Working With Children Check (WWCC) if required by company policy
- Previous experience in the glazing industry or building trades is highly valued
