About the Job

This position will be reporting to the National Sales Manager, and the major duties include but are not limited to the following key focus areas:

· Achieve sales and margin targets as per a business plan based on budget creation, sales reporting and pricing strategy.

· Implement set strategic initiatives designed to enhance the operation and performance of the business for new territories and customer development.

· Achievement of operational and logistics objectives and strategies regarding Warehouse performance and KPI’s, stock variances and consignments, warranty returns and operational policies and procedures.





· Development of close working relationships with key customers across the territory to implement ongoing customer development and retention initiatives with current and current key customers and segments.

· Assisting with administrative effectiveness within the territory regarding objectives and KPI’s, debtors’ control, sales performance and implementation of policies, procedures and processes.

About You To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate the following competencies:

· Ability to develop customer relationships

· Previous battery experience an advantage but not necessary

· Proven sales skills (1-3 years’ experience)

· Strong desire to improve the business

· Car licence (Manual)

· Forklift Licence or willing to obtain one.

· Knowledge and understanding of computers

· Exceptional communication skills

· Strong organisational skills and time management

· Sales coaching to build the capability of team performance

· Business development skills, to initiate, drive and open new customers within the sectors

· Possess the ability to provide and influence direction to the team
