Key Responsibilities:

· Transaction Processing: Record and process financial transactions.

· Statutory Compliance: Assist in preparing BAS, FBT, Workcover, and Payroll tax returns, and year-end audits.

· Financial Reporting: Support month-end and year-end close processes.

· Data Analysis: Analyse financial data and prepare reports on cash flow and financial performance.

· Administrative Support: Provide support to the accounting department and assist with special projects.

Qualifications:

· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

· Experience: 1-2 years in a general accounting role.

· Certifications: CPA or equivalent is a plus but not required

Skills:

- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, NetSuite).
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
