NOVSTA Engineering is looking for a BIM Coordinator with 8–10 years behind them to run coordination on live international projects from our Sydney office.

We're a small group with two halves: NOVSTA Engineering does structural, MEP and BIM delivery; NOVSTA PM handles cost, contract and project control. Between them our teams have delivered 37 projects across 15 countries — schools and academies in Qatar, villas and residences in Saudi Arabia, high-rise in the UAE, power and rail in Egypt. You'd sit on the engineering side, working with people who know what happens downstream of a model.

What you'd be doing

- Owning federated models across structural, architectural and MEP — setting up the shared workplace, keeping it clean, keeping it current.
- Running clash detection and coordination cycles in Navisworks, and chairing the meetings where the clashes actually get resolved.
- Holding the BIM Execution Plan to ISO 19650 — naming, LOD, information delivery milestones, and the audit trail behind them.
- Producing and checking shop drawings, schedules and quantities out of Revit for the technical office.
- Working with our automation team on Revit API, Dynamo and Python tools that take the repetitive work off the modellers.
- Being the point of contact for client and consultant BIM managers across Australian and Gulf time zones.

What we're looking for





- 8–10 years in BIM coordination or digital engineering on building or infrastructure projects.
- A degree in civil, structural, mechanical or architectural engineering — or equivalent site-earned experience.
- Deep Revit, plus Navisworks, and hands-on with a common data environment (ACC, BIM 360 or similar).
- Real working knowledge of ISO 19650 — not just the certificate, but what it changes day to day.
- Enough structural or MEP understanding to know which clash matters and which one doesn't.
- Clear written English and the patience to chase a resolution across three organisations.

Nice to have

- Dynamo, Revit API, C# or Python scripting.
- Scan-to-BIM and point cloud work.
- 4D or 5D experience, or exposure to cost and programme data.
- Autodesk certification, or RICS BIM Project Management.
- Middle East project experience.
