Haus of Dizzy is a proudly Aboriginal-owned jewellery brand led by Wiradjuri woman Kristy Dickinson, creating bold, playful statement pieces that celebrate and honour First Nations culture. Each item is designed, laser-cut, hand-painted, and assembled in the Fitzroy, Melbourne/Naarm studio, ensuring a solid focus on craftsmanship and authenticity. The brand was founded in 2014 to address the lack of representation in jewellery and fashion accessories and empowers both Indigenous communities and allies to express pride and spark meaningful dialogue.

Known for vibrant designs using mirrored acrylic, glitter, dynamic patterns, and references to the Aboriginal flag, Haus of Dizzy brings social, political, and environmental issues to the forefront through wearable art.

About the Role The Creative Projects & Operations Coordinator is a hands-on, multi-skilled role supporting the day-to-day operations, creative projects and growth of Haus of Dizzy. Working closely with the founder, this role spans creative development, business administration, ecommerce, customer/wholesale support, grants, events and special projects.

As part of a small business, the role requires someone who can confidently move between creative and operational tasks, take initiative, solve problems and help bring projects from idea through to completion.

This is an entry/mid-level role.

Key Responsibilities

Creative & Design

- Develop and assist with creative concepts, artwork, product designs and campaign materials.
- Use laser-cutter to cut iconic Haus of Dizzy pieces.
- Coordinate design projects from initial concept through to production.
- Work with suppliers, printers and manufacturers to develop and produce products.
- Assist with the occasional photoshoot, product launches and creative campaigns.

Projects & Business Development

- Research and develop new product and business opportunities.
- Assist with grant, award and funding applications.

Ecommerce & Digital

- Manage and update Shopify websites,



including products, collections, pricing, imagery and website content.
- Assist with product launches, promotions and online campaigns.
- Support email marketing and customer communications through Klaviyo.
- Monitor website content and identify opportunities to improve the customer experience.

Operations & Administration

- Coordinate day-to-day business administration and organisational tasks.
- Maintain spreadsheets, product information, pricing and business records.
- Support wholesale operations, including orders, communications, and account management.

Customer & Community

- Respond to customer and wholesale enquiries in line with Haus of Dizzy's brand voice.
- Help ensure Haus of Dizzy's values of creativity, empowerment, representation and community are reflected across its work.

Skills & Experience

- Strong organisational and project co-ordination skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Creative thinking and strong attention to detail.
- Experience with laser-cutters is required, though thorough training will be provided.
- Experience with ecommerce platforms such as Shopify is required.
- Experience with design and creative software (i.e. Creative Cloud) is required.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and initiative.
- Ability to work independently and adapt quickly in a small-business environment.
- Experience with grants, awards, marketing, social media or wholesale is highly regarded.

Success in this role means keeping projects moving, solving problems before they become bigger issues, supporting the founder across the business and helping turn creative ideas into finished products, campaigns and opportunities.

This is a varied role where no two days are necessarily the same. The ideal person is creative, organised, practical, proactive and comfortable wearing many hats in a fast-moving small business.
