Since 1995, Diamond has been providing professional Security and Emergency Service Officers (ESO's) to a variety of industries including manufacturing, oil and gas, manufacturing, government, military, air force, maritime, mining and other resource and critical infrastructure facilities.

Diamond is now seeking applications for Emergency Service Officer(ESO) roles across multiple sites in the Greater Geelong includingLaraarea.

About the role:

You will be working as part of a team of professional on-site emergency responders; assessing, containing and stabilising incidents that threaten our people or our property. Our services are 24/7 and supported by an onsite volunteer rescue team at higher risk sites.

Safety is paramount at Diamond and the requirements of the role reflect this. You will be performing proactive site patrols, monitoring both the integrity of the site and its safety infrastructure, issuing permits and maintaining operational equipment.

About you:

You will be self-motivated, capable and experienced enough to perform your role independently with minimal supervision, and can function effectively as part of a team. You will take ownership of your role and your work ethic will place safety and constant improvement at the forefront of everything you do.



You will understand the advantages of working in a team with a wide rangingset of skills and specializations. You will proactively seek to share your knowledge and broaden the skill base of the team at large.

Mandatory QualificationsRequired (or equivalent):

- Australian Drivers Licence
- Victorian Security Guard/Officer Licence
- PUAFIR203 Respond to Urban Fire
- PUAFIR207 Operate Breathing Apparatus Open Circuit
- PUAFIR306 Render Hazardous Materials Incidents Safe
- PUAFIR316 Identify detect and Monitor Hazardous Atmospheres
- PUAFIR308 Employ Personal Protection at a Hazardous Materials Incident
- PUASAR025 Undertake Confined Space Rescue
- Current annual CPR Refresher.
- Undertake Road Crash Rescue (for Lara site - compulsory)

Desirable Qualifications:

- Certificate III in Mines Emergency Response & Rescue OR
- Certificate III in Public Safety (Firefighting and Emergency Operations)
- TAE40116 - Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (advantageous).

Diamond recruits Emergency Service Officers from all walks of life. Whilst experienced ESO's are preferred we will consider inexperienced applicants who hold the mandatory qualifications listed above if they can demonstrate the required aptitude.
