About the Role
- Permanent Full Time Position
- The roster involves working Monday to Friday (6.30am to 5.00pm),
hours are paid at a base hourly rate for the first 7.6 hours plus penalty rates for overtime.
- Our qualified diesel mechanics maintain, service and repair our fleet of vehicles including light vehicles and forklifts when necessary.
- Record and Reorder/Requisition materials and parts as required.
- Inspect and verify apprentices/TA work when required.
- Provide on-call/breakdown support on a rotation roster basis, attractive additional allowances paid and company vehicle supplied for on-call hours.
Requirements
- Experience in a similar working environment
- Minimum 3 years diesel mechanic experience is required
- Trade qualification/CERT III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology
- Pride in your workmanship
- Truck/Forklift licence is highly desirable
- Be able to work unsupervised and as part of a team
- Australian work rights are required for this position
