We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic casual Visitor Experience Officer to join our professional and busy team within the Historic Precinct and Indigo Shire Visitor Information Centres.

n

The Key Responsibilities Of The Role Are

n

Beechworth Historic Precinct Venue Operation:

n

n
- Welcome visitors, inform them of ticket choices, tour options and venue experiences.
n
- Deliver introductory talks about the venue and its history to visitors.
n
- Provide engaging and informative walking tours and presentations based on provided scripts and activities.
n
- Assist the Schools & Public Education Officer with education and tour group visits,



and deliver education presentations to groups from set scripts when required.
n

Visitor Servicing

n

n
- Assist with the development of a customer‐centric and positive environment at the Visitor Information Centre, ensuring visitors are made welcome and leave well informed, with a sense of excitement for and anticipation of their time in the Indigo Shire.
n
- Maintain knowledge of current accommodation, attractions, local events and trends in local and regional tourism.
n

- This is a casual role so attracts a 25% casual loading
n
